Stimulus

Reactions spill hot coffee and it burns us.  Responses are like sipping cool liquids through a straw and are  pleasant to the senses.

    The confusion between responses and reactions are a bewildering to us mortals. The tendency to react is "knee jerk" and all too human reciprocal behavior as a result of stimuli. On the other hand a response is acknowledging a given event.
