Breaking Away

I just found out why the dark side of the moon wants to break away from the light side.... and it makes a lot of sense

The light side of the moon is happiness. And, not just a simple smile. The light side is the freedom of youth, which can be full of a sparkling star in the darkness of the unknown.

Now, of course, as to that damning dark side. Well, we all know about that. The dark side is one which reality obscures and smothers dreams and wishes we all have had in our younger days. Darkness of the moon can be that sigh in the night that douses any flame of candlelight out.

Life's a process that is ever changing. The more we think we've got it all figured out - BANG! We all have heard that foreboding tune. But, then again, the dark side of the moon is just across the horizon.

True words of wisdom can come from anywhere:

--"And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes I'll see you on the dark side of the moon."--

As another perceptive bit of prose can always linger in the mind:

--"And then one day you find ten years have got behind you. No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun."--

Never let your star burn out, JB..

  3. The reason the dark side of the moon wants to break away from the light side is that it has a really good offer from another solar system who has plenty of forlorn couples without a moon to look at night.

Oh, I do understand what you mean. It's a pity that some people will never really understand the modulation of the moon. Or, even the stunning complexity of another solar system.

But, I guess a blue moon against an ordinary ocean will always have an extra glisten to those who truly can see. With age, we all can have true vision. It's not so easy to view the truth when we are young...
