The football has to be properly inflated for the quarterback to throw a successful completion to its intended receiver but spirituality requires no such “air” it only needs an intention and with that it carries a guaranteed reception.

Tree Branches
Why am I here? What will be my legacy when it’s all said and done? All said and done? What the hell does that mean? It is an emblematic cliché that belongs in the archives of meaningless phrases that try to capture the human experience in a few words that have a catchy rhythm to them. Often when climbing a tree I can lose my intent, which is to climb the tree, and a leaf on a branch distracts me and I never finish climbing that tree. Like right now as I failed to address my questions I just asked.

Immediate Gratification
Immediate gratification is a funny thing because once you sate it you gain that window of rationality again. And when it does clamor the next time to satisfy some urge or need, you gain the strength to stave off that impulse with more effectiveness because it wasn't as satisfying as our mind had conjured it to be in the first place.
